NavCoin
Full-stack work on NavCoin core repos, NavPI Raspberry Pi staking hardware, and the Kauri Angular crypto wallet for Android and iOS.
The Challenge
At Encrypt-S I contributed full-stack engineering across NavCoin and related core repositories — from network-facing staking hardware to a next-generation mobile wallet. The work spanned a Raspberry Pi–based staking device (NavPI), daemon and API integration, and Kauri, an Angular crypto wallet aimed at Android and iOS.
Constraints
- Cryptocurrency infrastructure where correctness around staking, consensus participation, and wallet flows is critical.
- NavPI as a dedicated staking appliance on Raspberry Pi, working directly with the NAV daemon and a Go API.
- Kauri as a cross-platform wallet surface in Angular, prepared for Android and iOS release.
Contributions
- Contributed across core NavCoin repositories — full-stack development on the projects that power the network and team tooling.
- Shipped NavPI for efficient staking — enabled proof-of-stake participation via a dedicated Raspberry Pi device backed by the NAV daemon and Go API.
- Advanced Kauri as the next-generation wallet — Angular wallet experience intended for Android and iOS release.
Outcomes
NavPI supported staking through hardware plus daemon/API integration, while Kauri progressed as the next-generation wallet. My core-repository contributions kept full-stack delivery aligned with the broader NavCoin ecosystem.
